Hydraulic & Automation Warehouse (HAW), part of the Hytec Group, has invested an initial amount of R5 million in mobile hydraulics technologies. This investment encompasses an extensive stock holding and range of hydraulic and electrohydraulic mobile machine components. Bringing the latest European hydraulics technology to the local market, HAW offers a wide product selection to satisfy the whole mobile machine industry, including mining, agriculture, forestry, transportation, marine and steel.
“We are excited to be able to offer these new products to the mobile machine market at extremely competitive prices, with full service and support,” says Richard van Rooyen, general manager of HAW.
HAW now also supplies geroler and gerotor hydraulic motors with and without integral brakes. These are a cost effective alternative to other slow speed but high torque motor brands and are available in sizes ranging from 8 cc to 800 cc. There is also a comprehensive range of power steering units and accessories from the same manufacturer.
The total HAW solution offering includes hydraulic hose and hose assemblies, fittings, steel tube and steel tube fittings, adaptors, drive couplings, quick couplers, welded construction and tie-rod cylinders, filters (spin on and tank top mounted types), hand pumps, tank accessories, accumulators and DC power packs. HAW products are also available through the Hytec Group network of 25 branches throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
