SKF has signed a five-year contract with recycling company Metso Lindemann to operate its global parts warehouse and distribution. SKF will supply Metso Lindemann’s customers worldwide on a daily basis from a central distribution centre in Belgium. The implementation will require approximately 1500 m² of indoor storage capacity and another 3000 m² of outside storage.
Services include inbound operations, warehousing, customer service activities and outbound operations for spare and wear parts. Nearly 2000 unique product references will be received from the Metso Lindemann factory in Dusseldorf as well as from external suppliers.
