PECS gets creative at Propak Africa 2007 Exhibition

First Quarter 2007 News & events

Pneumatic Electric Control Systems (PECS) will be showcasing its products at this year's Propak Africa Exhibition, as it believes it must keep its customers up to date with its latest developments in its products, as well as within PECS, so as to assure its commitment to service with existing and potential customers.

* DEUBLIN rotating unions. A working demo of a rotating steam union will be on display. The demo will simulate a rotating drying cylinder as seen at the company's local Paper Mills. Condensate will be removed from the rotating cylinder through its union.

* KEB variable speed inverters. A working demo of a rotating index table will demonstrate positioning using three KEB servo controllers and motors.

* MAC solenoid valves. A transferable lab demo will be in operation which enables the company to test/demonstrate the shifting force, response times, repeatability, flow and speed of any solenoid valve.

PECS is the sole agent for DEUBLIN rotating unions, KEB AC drives/servos, MAC solenoid air valves, TOL-O-MATIC rodless cylinders, EDCO vacuum components, WPT disc clutches/brakes, OSI drum clutches/brakes, COREMO brakes and clutches and TWINDISC PTOs.

Its products are serviced nationwide by four branches located in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
