Drive engineering specialist company SEW Eurodrive recently launched a new updated and user friendly website.
Rene Rose, the company's marketing manager, states: "With such an extensive product range it was important for us to design a website that makes it easy for our customers to find the best product for their application. With this in mind we have designed the new website with a focus on industry specific product applications."
Rene Rose, marketing manager, SEW Eurodrive
Customers are encouraged to visit the website at www.sew.co.za and register online to receive product and industry specific information, to subscribe to a regular quarterly online newsletter and technical documentation for all its products. The latest software and documents can also be requested via the website. The website has a facility for customers to log enquiries and fault reports as well as send through requests for quotes or orders. An online gallery and a list of upcoming events are also available.
What is unique about the site is that it is self content managed. "This was a big priority for SEW as we wanted to avoid delays in getting up important news or having outdated information on our website," says Rene. "We wanted to ensure the site is more dynamic and informative. A customer-focused website was very important to us." The Solutions Route designed the website for SEW Eurodrive and it includes a fully functional administration tool behind the scenes to allow them to self content manage the site.
