The following MERSETA accredited courses by Festo Didactic, combining theory and practice, will be run in April.
Pneumatics 1 Basic: PN111
This pneumatics course covers low cost automation, pneumatic symbols and other general pneumatic principles. It will run from 13 to 15 April in East London and Port Elizabeth, and 19 to 21 April in Johannesburg.
Pneumatics 2 Maintenance: PN121
This pneumatics course covers pneumatic power generation, preparation and distribution, as well as the design function and identification of pneumatic components. It will run from 6 to 8 April in Johannesburg and 18 to 20 April in Port Elizabeth
Electro-Pneumatics: PN 211
This electro-pneumatics course covers electrical principles, electrical and pneumatic symbols and standards, as well as the interaction of the electrical control section and pneumatic power section. It will run from 13 to 15 April in Johannesburg and 19 to 21 April in Durban.
Hydraulics 1 Basic: HY 511
This hydraulics course includes standards for equipment and circuit diagram representation, physical principles, and basic principles of systematic trouble-shooting. It will run from 6 to 8 April in Durban, 13 to 15 April in Johannesburg and 19 to 21 April in Cape Town.
Hydraulics 2 Advanced: HY 521
This hydraulics course includes standards and safety regulations, design and function of hydraulic power supply systems, and hydraulic drives for linear and rotary movements. It will run from 6 to 8 April in Johannesburg.
