Hoses for utility maintenance and yellow metal vehicles

3rd Quarter 2014 News & events Hydraulic systems & components

Genflex Hydraulics is able to supply hoses and cylinders for utility maintenance vehicles (UMVs) used for railway maintenance, as well as hydraulic fittings for yellow metal machinery across various sectors of the mining and construction industries. Genflex technicians are able, should the client require it, to install mini hydraulic hose plants alongside production lines, so that Genflex personnel can monitor the manufacturing and quality process of the hydraulic hose products and related fittings as they are assembled.

Managing director, Bruce Garner said, “We at Genflex are always seeking new outlets and applications for our product and service offerings and we believe that niche opportunities exist in the transportation and yellow metal sectors in addition to our established mining outlets.

“Some of our technical sales staff have specific experience with UMVs. While we have serviced earthmoving and other construction machinery over the years, we believe that both these transportation markets are set for expansion, and Genflex is well positioned to be the leading player,” said Garner. Genflex Hydraulics has the support of the entire network of Genflex and Genflex subsidiary companies throughout South Africa, all offering hydraulic expertise in the transportation industry.
