Hytec Fluid Technology (HFT) has been appointed a distributor of Femco oil drainage equipment in South Africa. Femco oil drain plugs deliver spill-free, toolless oil changes. They are ideal for use across multiple sectors, from transport and agriculture to energy and earth moving, in any mobile or industrial fluid change applications.
Femco’s oil drain plugs enable 100% spill-free oil changes. “They dramatically reduce downtime by allowing oil changes to be done on site,” says key account manager, Alex Venter. “They are designed to replace existing plugs on any drain valve, whether in engines, gearboxes, hydraulic tanks, radiators, axles, drivelines, fluid tanks, or gensets.” These solid brass, ISO 9000-certified plugs are temperature-resistant, facilitating fast oil drainage without any delay normally required for the oil to cool first. This is all backed by Femco’s lifetime warranty.
At present, HFT stocks select products from the Femco range, with plans to add more product lines to its portfolio as demand grows. Currently held in stock are Femco’s original oil drain plugs; compact oil drain plugs; click drain oil plugs; XL oil drain plugs; and non-drip oil plugs. All of these fit easily on most standard drain hoses and HFT can also supply customised drainers as required, including angled or extended drain connectors or special adapters. All Femco oil drain plugs from HFT are supplied with fitted magnets, which can be inspected for metal fragments after oil draining to ensure oil system health.
