QuickDesign from Sun Hydraulics is a free, web-based tool that creates custom designs in as little as 10 minutes. Working with circuits containing up to 12 cartridges, it is completely automated and allows the user to develop a proprietary solution according to the design inputs.
Being web-based QuickDesign does not require any special software on the computer. The user selects the faces where features and components are to be placed, delivering a complete assembly with manifold drawings, connection lists, drill lists and 2D/3D CAD files. Simple and easy to use, the package allows iteration of different designs by changing constraints to provide a complete manufacturing package for purchase or contracting out.
In addition to producing a proprietary solution for each machine, other benefits include ease of ordering as there is only one part number. This results in significant cost savings when compared to purchasing and assembling multiple components. In addition fewer hoses and fittings are needed, plumbing is simplified and inventory is reduced.
