Enhanced range for Hypress
1st Quarter 2014
News & events
Italian hydraulics company, Interpump Group, recently acquired 60% of the hydraulic hose and fitting manufacturer, the IMM Group. With a manufacturing base in Atessa Italy, an additional manufacturing subsidiary in Romania, and distribution companies in Great Britain, France, Germany and South Africa, the IMM Group has been in the fluid connection business since 1987.
Interpump Hydraulics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Interpump Group, is already a world leader in power takeoffs for industrial vehicles, having recently acquired Hydrocontrol, Galtech and MTC. The IMM acquisition will further expand its range. “Through the acquisition of IMM, Interpump has expanded its range of products and built on its distribution synergies across the world market,” says Interpump Group chairman, Fulvia Montipo.
Hypress Africa is the 100% owned South African subsidiary of the IMM Group. Based in Johannesburg, and with a branch in Cape Town, the company is also supported by a number of dedicated stockists countrywide. Hypress currently offers a complete range of hydraulic hose, silicone hose, fittings and accessories. This range will be greatly enhanced by the synergy that the Interpump Group’s acquisition of the IMM Group will bring.
