HSS sole distributor for Schroeder Industries
3rd Quarter 2013
News & events
Hydrastatic Sales & Service (HSS) is proud to announce its recent appointment as sole distributor for sub-Saharan Africa for Schroeder Industries, the well-known brand of fluid filtration solutions. Paul Tift, Warren Wilson and Simon Tift will again be associated with the brand they promoted for many years while the Schroeder distributorship was held by the Denquip group of companies which ceased trading in 2005.
HSS specialises in the sales and service of the Parker Denison brand of pumps and motors. Between 70 and 90% of all hydraulic component failures can be attributed to contamination and the addition of the Schroeder range of filtration solutions within HSS will add substantial value. HSS has all along been aligned with Schroeder through its customer training programme for Denison pumps and motors. This includes a contamination control module structured around the Schroeder Industries range of products.
The Schroeder brand is at the forefront of fluid filtration solutions in hydraulic filtration, elements technology, filter systems and fuels. The Schroeder BestFit range of replacement filter elements allows for easy and accurate replacement of all major brands of filter elements. The Schroeder filtration brand will benefit from the specialised approach of the HSS team as well as the fact that there are no brand conflicts within the products currently marketed. HSS will focus on marketing the Schroeder product within the mining sector, with the support of OEM businesses as well as strategic reseller partnerships and direct marketing to end users.
