Tie-rod cylinders upgraded

Second Quarter 2008 Hydraulic systems & components

A range of upgraded tie-rod cylinders for 21 MPa operation has been launched by Hytec Engineering.

The higher working pressure of the tie-rod cylinders offers greater operating forces for the same size cylinder. The upgrade was prompted by increased demand in the agricultural industry for cylinders able to operate at higher pressures.

The new tie-rod cylinder conforms to SABS 9001 standards and the company advises that there is no cost implication to the customer.
