Dual-purpose mobile power unit

Genflex Hydraulics of Alrode South, Johannesburg has introduced a totally South African produced dual-purpose mobile power unit.

The mobile power unit can be used as a pressure testing machine suitable for testing hydraulic hoses and cylinders or as a source of mobile hydraulic power in the event of hydraulic machinery breakdowns.

The unit has a tank capacity of 150 litres, a 7,5 kW motor and a hydraulic pump giving a pressure of 250 bar. It has a built in double-acting hand-operated valve, two hydraulic gauges and a pressure relief valve. It weighs 165 kg inclusive of oil. The unit has four wheels and as standard has two ½ inch hydraulic hoses of 2m in length for connection to the device to be tested.

The mobile power unit has no electronic or electric devices that could cause a breakdown if used by unskilled labour and is suitable for use in any hydraulic related industry, in factories and within the transportation sector.

All Genflex branches throughout the Republic will hold stock of the unit and delivery is within two weeks of order.
