UK oil filtration company on a mission

Fourth Quarter 2007 News & events

Condensate Systems, manufacturers of the innovative Sepura range of oil-water separators, are looking to establish a distribution partnership that will add South Africa to its growing international sales network.

Having already designed the best-selling Boss separator, with a patented floating filter, parent company Bowman Stor founded Condensate Systems in 2006 to launch and market the Sepura range. Incorporating another departure from the conventional, Sepura's design enables rapid manufacturing and low capital cost, placing environmental compliance within easy economic reach of compressor users.

Bowman Stor was formed in 1997 to manufacture new and replacement filters for every brand of oil-water separator on the market. Sustained growth and sound investment in production systems and warehousing has seen a tenfold turnover increase. Sales are anticipated to top £1,4m (R19,6 m) in the current financial year.

"Sepura was designed to meet environmental legislation in the UK and internationally," adds sales director Richard Turner. "Our current export strongholds are the USA, Canada, Ireland, France, Belgium, Italy, Denmark and Turkey and we are looking to appoint a key distributor here in South Africa. We can offer the right partner a comprehensive supply and marketing support package on a proven, profitable model."

Based near Birmingham, UK, Condensate Systems recently acquired additional premises, of 2000 m², with 11 employees and an automated manufacturing plant.
