Innovative technology at Bauma 2004 in Germany
Third Quarter 2004
News & events
At the recent Bauma 2004 exhibition in Germany, Linde Drive And Motion Technology, represented in South Africa by sole local agent Ernest Lowe Pneumatic & Hydraulic Automation Solutions, once again demonstrated the Linde ethos of progress through innovation. New models and products on show covered nearly all functions of open and closed loop hydrostatic drives. From large displacement pumps and motors through to high-accuracy swing drives in compact cases, a through-shaft PTO motor and a regulating pump that greatly reduces noise levels.
Forty years ago, Linde pioneered mobile hydraulics with the series production of the world's first industrial truck equipped with hydrostatic transmission. Since then, Linde Drive and Motion Technology has maintained its place among the foremost makers of hydrostatic drives for mobile applications. A steady stream of new developments and product enhancements are combined with the integration of modern electronics to produce simple, powerful and effective solutions to long-standing problems.
Linde develop its specific system solutions in close collaboration with manufacturers of construction, agricultural and forestry machines, materials handling equipment and municipal vehicles. No matter what the ultimate goal of the improvement may be, whether it is better power utilisation, optimum component interaction, operator convenience, functional reliability or operational safety, clients can rely on the know-how, dedication and expertise of Linde engineers.
