New drive launched
Third Quarter 2005
Electrical switching & drive systems & components
A new member of the family in the latest Danfoss Drives generation series VLT AutomationDrive FC 300 is now on offer.
The new addition, the FC 301, along with the FC 302, is intended to cover all performance levels in automation. The FC 300 drive series features one concept to run any application, machine or production line.
The FC 301 is based on the same technology platform as the FC 302 and is as flexible, reliable, and user-friendly. It shares many of the FC 302 functionalities, and is designed as a more cost-effective solution for applications demanding lower performance.
Using the VLT AutomationDrive FC 301 and FC 302, the user can take advantage of common options and a shared user interface. The common platform makes it simple to easily learn all the drives in the application. The benefits of a single drives concept are numerous: options, settings, interface, programming and more can be transferred between drives, saving time and effort. Numerical display enhances AutomationDrive.
Along with the VLT AutomationDrive FC 301, Danfoss Drives has also introduced a numerical control panel. This is a supplement to the graphic control panel for the FC 302 high-performance drive. Now users have three choices - the advanced graphical LCP, the less costly numerical LCP, or running the drive without a dedicated control panel. The VLT panels can be used for drives setup when temporarily mounted - or connected by wire.
