IMC now represented in South Africa

Second Quarter 2005 News & events

International Motion Control, through its local distributor Applied Pneumatics, offers a broad range of automation and motion control resources to South Africa. These include products, engineering assistance, world-class manufacturing and customer service. IMC is divided into a number of operating groups. These include:

* CMC offering customers an array of motion control solutions ranging from automation components to the design and engineering of completely integrated systems.

* Enivate provides the commercial aircraft industry interior actuation systems for cabin, galley and crew areas.

* Since 1966, Enidine offers a comprehensive range of standard and custom energy absorption and vibration isolation products.

* Enidine Aerospace has met the stringent needs of defence, aviation, vibration and structures customers for over 35 years with a broad range of engineered technical solutions for shock, rate control and vibration applications.

* The Vibration Isolation Group provides elastomeric isolators, wire rope technology and wire mesh products that are designed and developed to protect equipment and structures from shock, vibration, noise and seismic events.

* Vibratech, The Rail Products division has been an industry leader since 1919 in the Global Rail Market with motion control, energy absorption and vibration isolation.

* Automation: CAP is a market-leading manufacturer of space efficient custom automation solutions and standard pneumatic automation components and component modules.

* Turn-Act designs and manufactures automation products. Components are specified in applications from simple conveyor stops to complex multi-axis assembly systems.

* Midland-ACS manufactures stainless steel pneumatic/hydraulic control components and electro-hydraulic valve actuation systems, for oil and gas topside, onshore pipelines and power generation applications.

* Alcon manufactures standard and custom-designed solenoid valves.
