Amphenol's wide range of D-type connectors include D-Subminiature (Micro D-Subs; Standard D-Subs; High Density D-Subs; Hybrid D-Subs) VHDCI (very high density interconnect) and D-Types for SCSI applications.
Amphenol produces using the Amphenol, Phoenix Interconnect and Socapex brand names. The D-Types are available in all combinations including PCB mount straight or right angle; straddle mount; solder cup; cable crimp type; terminal block; SMT; filtered; IDC and Mil-C-55302. Accessories such as hoods (metal or plastic); screw locks; slide lock kits; jackscrews and shielding cans for over-moulding are available. Stacked versions and adapters are also produced.
Contact combinations for the Hybrid D-Subs include power (up to 40 A); fibre-optics; RF and signal. D-Types for SCSI 1, 2 and 3 are produced in all combinations. A notable inclusion in this range is the 50 position Centronics-style IDC connector kit in both plastic and metal finishes.
