Sauer-Danfoss appoints Pro-Hydraulics

4th Quarter 2012 News & events

Sauer-Danfoss, a market leader in hydraulics and electronics, has appointed Pro-Hydraulics as sales and service partner for sub-equatorial Africa. This is a result of the recognised ability of Pro-Hydraulics to offer close customer relationships and outstanding technical service, as well as maintaining a large product inventory with quick response and short lead times. This is in line with the Sauer-Danfoss business philosophy and its Best in Class strategy.

Pro-Hydraulics was established in 1991 and has experienced solid growth over the past 20 years. The company is owner managed, with a current staff complement of 73. It has fully equipped workshops, test facilities, stores and offices in Johannesburg and Durban, and offices in Richards Bay. It is also ISO 9001:2008 accredited and BEE certified.

Pro-Hydraulics has been a Sauer-Danfoss service partner since May 2000 and it is a natural progression for Sauer-Danfoss to make the company the sales and service partner for sub-equatorial Africa and their Indian Ocean Islands. With its high technical competence and application know-how, the company has the capability to assist with engineering, product selection, repairs and testing. Its complementary products enable it to offer complete hydraulic solutions for mobile and stationary applications, as well as product- and machine-specific training. Together Pro-Hydraulics and Sauer-Danfoss look forward to serving their markets and growing from strength to strength.
