The South African Fluid Power Association's Ladies' Day was hosted by David Michelle of Genflex Hydraulics on 18 May 2006 and offered delegates all-round knowledge training.

In addition to continuing with his hydraulics and pneumatics for the 'layman' seminars, David Michelle also presented an inspirational talk on how to remain positive, creative and inspired in the workplace.
The guest speaker was Jackie Ellis who is an attorney specialising in matrimonial issues such as financial equity and planning within marriage. She explained the ins and outs of maintenance and access issues in regard to children in the event of a divorce.

This series of 'layman's' technical talks for our ladies and the bringing in of speakers to introduce topics of interest is proving popular. During the last 12 months visits to the hydraulics and pneumatics department of SAA as well as other players in the industry have been well attended.
