Flashy Klaxon

1 February 2010

Klaxon Signals has introduced a range of signal horns for use in signalling applications – from fire alarms to industrial warning.
The new signal horns have been designed to produce the alert signal of the traditional electro-mechanical equivalents but without any of their associated reliability issues. In addition to the ‘buzzer’ type sound the unit features a further two alarm sounds.
The Signal Horn 100 range has a sound output of 100 dB for general signalling applications, while the Signal Horn 110 range emits a 110 dB electronic signal for applications with high background noise.
These devices are available in a wide range of supply voltages (12ᅠVᅠa.c./d.c.–260ᅠVᅠa.c./d.c.) and can be fitted with a xenon, LED or rotating beacon to add visual warning.
