The EZ-LIGHT segmented indicator from Banner Engineering Corporation provides operator guidance and indication of equipment status. The rugged IP67 rated indicator is fitted in a K80L housing and uses multicoloured, long-lasting LEDs (>100 000 hour) to indicate the status of remote sensors and minimises the need for costly and inconvenient bulb replacements. The segmented indicators feature a low-profile design for easy installation and are compatible with PLC or other logic-level control signals.
The indicators provide a one-, two-, three- or four-colour display with individual segments illuminated separately or in combination to display multiple status configurations simultaneously. Optional labels are available for enhanced segment identification.
The lights are completely self-contained and are a neutral grey colour when they are off, preventing ambient light simulating an active light.
The segmented indicators deliver PNP (sourcing) or NPN (sinking) input types and feature Euro-style quick-disconnects, various cable options and wiring chambers, depending on model.
Despite using very little power, EZ-LIGHT segmented indicators provide a highly visible, simple solution for a wide variety of manufacturing and inspection sensing applications, including:
