Kollmorgen Seidel is offering a range of servo motors. Suitable for use with all Danaher Motion servo amplifiers, these motors are available with seven flange sizes and a large number of winding options. Optional feedback systems provide maximum flexibility for machine design. Winding temperatures are monitored by PTC sensors as standard. AKM motors deliver high outputs for their frame size. The motors have low inertia rotors for high dynamic performance and they exhibit low cogging.
The standard versions of these motors are fitted with 2-pole resolvers with options that include Smart Feedback Device (SFD, the intelligent Danaher Motion Feedback), high-resolution EnDat encoder and Comcoder (incremental encoders with commutation track).
Specifications include standard flange dimensions, as per DIN 42955, vibration class ISO G6.3, insulation for 480 V a.c. mains supply, insulation class F as per Din 57530, protection class IP 40, mounting sockets for feedback and power can be swivelled.
Options include: Holding brake, shaft keyway, shaft seal, various flange/pcd versions (on request), various connection versions (on request), built-in high resolution Endat encoder (under development), built-in Smart Feedback device and a built-in Comcoder.
